rocked the town of Tyrone , in Blair County, authorities with the Pennsylvania Utility Commission's Bureau of Investigation s and Enforcement has filed a lengthy complaint against People's Natural Gas.

Officials say approximately 50 minutes after the gas line was damaged, the contractor reportedly began smelling the odor of natural gas and contacted the PNG Call Center. Investigators say the serviceman arrived just before 12:30 p.m. and was on scene for approximately 40 minutes prior to the explosion.

Authorities say the explosion and subsequent fire claimed the life of one resident, and injured at least four people, including the PNG serviceman who was on scene. Investigators also noted that PNG was reportedly "unable to provide any documentation on the initial odor investigation call" since the company's serviceman was injured in the blast.
