PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has told Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun to work closely with her deputy Datuk Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff.
“She is new there but it is not that she totally lacked experience. The new portfolio requires her to take a bit more time to study. Muhyiddin was asked to comment on concerns raised by women rights’ groups over Rina’s track record and Siti Zailah’s controversial views.Siti Zailah received public criticism for her apparent preoccupation with a shariah-compliant attire policy for female flight attendants.For example, former youth and sports minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman tweeted on Saturday about 13,000 MAS staff having to take unpaid leave amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
