NSTnation Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today called on Malaysians not to panic, as the government is looking into ways of managing the Covid19 pandemic here to stop it from escalating.

“Do not worry so much ... There is enough food to go around.“We have instructed the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry to ensure the supply of essential food items is available.

“There is certainly no need to panic. I am aware there is some degree of panic, but there will be sufficient supply," he told reporters after attending the first Economic Action Council meeting here, today.Muhyiddin said he has also instructed the Agriculture and Food Industries Ministry to monitor the situation on the ground.Pic by - NSTP/ASYRAF HAMZAH
