Bexar County, the City of San Antonio and the River Authority use the site as part of HALT, or High-Water Alert Lifesaving Technology, to alert the public about the status of low water crossings. The tool also integrates with Waze and Google Maps, allowing drivers to navigate around hazards such as flooded roadways and low water crossings.
