An 18-month-old boy in a stroller was attacked and permanently scarred when a pit bull pounced on him during a town-wide garage sale in Kinnelon last year, according to a lawsuit filed by the child’s parents.

The mother fought with the pit bull and pulled the dog off the baby, states the suit filed Sept. 11 in Superior Court in Morris County. The 18 month old was rushed to Morristown Memorial Hospital, where he underwent painful treatment for his injuries, according to the suit.
