Pirates are set to host SuperSport as they resume league action on Saturday, with the Buccaneers five points behind second-placed Matsatsantsa on the log.
"It goes without saying that for Pirates it's very important that we have to find ourselves in that position at the end of the season. There's more teams fighting for the same objectives with us and SuperSport is the one with more advantage. The Spanish tactician carried on and said that although their game against SuperSport is not necessarily the decider on who will qualify for the CAF Champions League, it could determine where they end up at the end of the season.
