Orlando Pirates coach says SuperSport game will give a good indication of progress made
Anything less than victory at Orlando Stadium will be damaging to the Buccaneers’ mission of toppling SuperSport for that runners-up spot that will qualify them for the CAF Champions League next season.“It is an opportunity to get the three points. When we don’t play against them, we are waiting and expecting that they will drop points. This time it is our opportunity to do it ourselves ,” said Riveiro.
Riveiro said: “We will play finals until the end. In the league and the Nedbank Cup, every game is going to be crucial for our fans. The ones who are trying to avoid relegation and the ones who are playing for top eight positions and to be in CAF competitions next season – it goes without saying that we have to find ourselves in those top positions."
The two teams played to a goalless draw when they met in the first round in Atteridgeville in August last year.
