Pierce County detectives are searching for a man who is wanted for second-degree following an incident that occurred last month.

The man told a 19-year-old woman who worked at the facility that he needed help with an injured cat and lured her into the woods, according to officials. Deputies said the man then punched the victim, knocking her down, and sexually assaulted her. The man then fled the area while the victim returned to the facility and had another employee call 911.Black male, 55-65 years old, over 6 feet tall, 300 pounds or larger.Heavily wrinkled brow and dark circles under eyes.Prominent midsection that appeared to affect the suspect’s gait.Pierce County officials said if anyone recognizes this person, to contact the sheriff’s department, or you can make an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-TIPS.
