Dozens of people tried to find ways to cool off while still enjoying their favorite fair foods.Fair spokeswoman Christy Pence said there are a lot of fans inside each of their buildings to keep people and the animals cool this week. There are also all kinds of frozen treats to help cool you down.
Jose Travis was working the front entrance at the fair. He said the heat tends to make people a little more irritable.
