Nowhere Bookshop and Belle & Union Co., 7959 Broadway #502 in San Antonio, are teaming up for the event Saturday, June 22, 2024.
For those of us who long for the days of spending lunch money on books and doodads at the school book fair, an event Saturday will be bringing back all the 'kistchy nostalgia' for the young and young at heart. Nowhere Bookshop and Belle & Union Co. are teaming up Saturday for the Broadway Book Fair , which will offer a variety of books and merchandise designed to inspire the excitement of a good, old book fair.
The event hopes to “capture the magic of the old time Scholastic Book Fairs of our childhood, but for grown ups, because we have bigger wallets now, hopefully,' said Meg Sutton, owner of stationary and gift store Belle & Union Co. Nowhere Bookshop will bring books fitting a 'Summer Escape' theme to the event at Belle & Union Co.'s storefront at 7959 Broadway #502. Books will range from kid-friendly to adult, and visitors can browse merchandise designed for the event.
