It's a massive week for the Light Blues with just days left in the transfer market
Even a six-goal win couldn’t make Philippe Clement completely happy. But the thumping win over Ross County at Hampden did bring a smile to the Belgian’s face.
But he insists that - with a bit of patience - he’ll get them to where he wants them to be. After a 6-0 stroll against County, Clement said: “Was that the perfect performance before Celtic? No, not perfect. “But for me, it's a logical thing. We're rebuilding a new squad with a lot of new players. They're taking the right lessons and the players who were already here are hungry to become better.
“We were in the right positions and making the right decisions in the final third today. That's what we missed in the St Johnstone game last week We worked on that, showed them the images, to explain to players how to do better, how to have better communication. Now, he’s their top centre-forward with five goals in six games already this season. And Clement couldn’t be happier with his number nine - who rejected a move to the MLS last week - ahead of the derby next week.
