These twin brothers are just as sweet as their names sound!
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Meet Oreo and Jellybean, two 5-month-old husky puppies with an abundance of energy!
These two are brothers, but the shelter is not requiring them to be adopted together. They were surrendered to the Fairbanks Animal Shelter because their previous owner could no longer care for them, and they are now in search of that perfect new home. In typical puppy fashion they are going to need help with learning basic commands, potty training, and positive socialization. Shelter staff say they are both doing a good job adapting to the routine at the shelter. Staff will be looking for an owner who will be patient with them and have the time and energy to commit to continuing their training.
These two did come from a home with other dogs and were described as being quite playful with canine friends. They do not, however, have experience with cats, pocket pets or livestock, so please do appropriate introductions with all new friends. If you are interested in meeting Oreo or Jellybean or any of their friends, please call the Fairbanks Animal Shelter at 459-1451.
