“We are politically-neutral charity; there is no political slant to any of the content in the Museum, including the Stone of Destiny.'
Perth Museum bosses have issued a robust defence of the Stone of Destiny exhibition after an accusation of political propaganda.
Culture Perth and Kinross stated: “We are politically-neutral charity; there is no political slant to any of the content in the Museum, including the Stone of Destiny. “The narrative in the Stone of Destiny experience was created over a three-year period in consultation with an external expert panel of historians and other academics; no political figures were involved.
“As we have welcomed more than 100,000 visitors through the doors in three months, there will be a range of opinions alongside the odd negative comment.
