Bibby (23) won every round against his Brazilian opponent in his fifth professional fight on Friday night.
Perth ’s unbeaten Luke Bibby says he is using the pressure which comes with being 5-0 to help spur him on for his bid at a title before the end of the year.
Cool, calm and collected is the energy emitted by Bibby both in and out of the ring, with the Perth fighter saying: “Everything went exactly to plan. It was brilliant.“I know the hard work that put in to train for these fights, so I know I have it in me to win.” He then went on to confidently win against Argentinian Edisson Boudiwan with a second round knockoout to make it 3-0, before beating Mexican Christian Lopez Flores 40-36 on points at the end of four rounds at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow.
