According to the Seattle Police Department, the 911 call came in just before 3:30 p.m. when crews responded to a report of a person in the water near the Green Lake Community Center on 7201 E. Green Lake Dr. N. The Seattle Fire Department said on X that the person was pulled from the water but “unfortunately, pronounced deceased." Seattle Fire advised officers that the person is believed to be a 41-year-old male Seattle resident, but is awaiting the King County Medical Examiner to identify the victim and determine the cause and manner of death, police told KOMO News.
