IPOH: In view of Covid-19 and its impact on the economy, the Perak government has come up with several initiatives to help targeted groups, says Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu.
The Perak Mentri Besar, in a special announcement Tuesday , said a one-off payment to hawkers and small traders through the local councils would be provided.Faizal said the state government would also absorb the cost of several loans for three months .
“Besides that, the state government has also decided to defer the payment for three months for the Perak Peoples’ Housing programme. Faizal said these initiatives were among the initial responses to the movement control order for the targeted groups.
