IPOH: No Friday prayers will be held in Perak on March 20 and March 27, says Tan Sri Dr Wan Mohd Zahid Mohd Noordin.

The Perak Islamic Religion and Malay Custom Council council president said the prayer must be replaced with Zohor prayer at home during the period of suspension.

“All mosques and suraus at areas with positive Covid-19 cases are ordered to be closed until they have completed the decontamination process and have received a written approval letter from the Ministry of Health. “A line from the Azan will also be changed accordingly to encourage Muslims to perform their prayers at home.
