Our Penn State vs. Ohio State predictions back the Buckeyes to cover the spread.
Ohio State isn’t a total powerhouse, but the Buckeyes have more than enough in the tank to cover this double-digit spread.Photo By - Reuters Connect. John Mobley Jr. celebrates after the game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers at Value City Arena.
The Penn State Nittany Lions will try to end a six-game losing streak when they visit the Ohio State Buckeyes tonight. The Nittany Lions may be getting a boatload of points tonight, but it’s not enough for me to bet against the Buckeyes in my Penn State vs. Ohio State predictions.is still searching for its first Big Ten win after eight consecutive conference losses, and it’s far from clear when that victory might come. There have been some close calls along the way, but this team is fundamentally lacking in talent on both sides of the ball compared to the rest of the conference. Even as the Nittany Lions played three schools they should be competitive against in their last three games, they lost each by double digits. While Penn State lacks imposing scoring threats — Kayden Mingo leads the way at 14.6 ppg — their real issues come on the defensive end. The Nittany Lions allow opponents to shoot 48.5% from the floor and 37.8% from 3-point range, both among the very worst numbers in the country. Even accounting for the strength of schedule, isn’t elite, but the Buckeyes are a tournament-level team that is far better across the board. At home, even this spread seems far too small given the gap between these two programs right now. While I expect Ohio State to win this game with ease, this shouldn’t be a shootout. These teams both play at relatively slow paces and neither has a clear trend to either side of the total, so I’m taking the Under tonight. John Mobley has hit at least four 3-pointers in each of his last three games and six of his last eight outings overall.Affiliate Disclosure : Our team of experts has thoroughly researched and handpicked each product that appears on our website. His betting strategy focuses more on finding line value based on deviations from the market rather than traditional handicapping, primarily shopping between DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics in his home state of Connecticut, though he’s not afraid to do deep game analysis to find profitable bets at any book. Outside of gambling, Ed is an avid curler who competes in mixed doubles on the World Curling Tour and runs a popular curling YouTube channel, Chess on Ice. That experience has come in handy during the Olympics, when he has proven to be a successful curling bettor as well. Ed's advice to new bettors is to always open multiple sportsbook accounts and check the odds at each before placing any bet. Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.Seahawks vs Patriots Predictions - Early Picks & Odds for Super Bowl 60Ducks vs Oilers Prediction, Picks & Same-Game Parlay for Tonight’s NHL GameGrizzlies vs Rockets Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA GameBruins vs Rangers Prediction, Picks & Same-Game Parlay for Tonight’s NHL GameMarch Madness Odds For Men's NCAA Tournament 2026Kansas vs Kansas State Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight's College Basketball GameCopyright © 1995 - 2026 CS Media Limited All Rights Reserved.
