GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Keysight Technologies will resume its operation on Tuesday (March 17) after four days of closure due to cleaning and sanitisation.
In an e-email statement on Monday , the multinational company stated that their site in Penang has been thoroughly cleansed and sanitised by professional cleaning staff and following strict cleaning protocols.
“The health and safety of Keysight’s employees and their families remain the company’s top priority, and as such, we will continue to take stringent precautionary measures to curb the spread of Covid-19, ” it said. The statement also stressed that business leaders have been and continue to actively monitor and take steps to protect its employees from the impact of Covid-19, as it continues to evolve.
Last Wednesday , thousands of workers from Keysight Technologies and several other factories were ordered to leave the company grounds, after one of them was found to have possibly been exposed to Covid-19.The company also declared that all employees must work from home starting from Thursday , until further notice while the factories are being sanitised.
