Paul O'Grady had been planning to rejoin the world of radio by hosting a BOOM Radio programme over Easter, it has sadly now been revealed, and he was 'really looking forward to it'

Paul O'Grady was planning his return to the studio to continue on his radio show the day before his death, it has been revealed.

Just the day before, the 67 year old had a meeting with the production team from the hit station to discuss his return over Easter. Programme director David Lloyd told Sky News that the whole team were excited for Paul's return to the airwaves, and he was "really looking forward to it" too.“I got an email last night from one of them saying: ‘We’ve just spoken to Paul, he’s really looking forward to it.'Fans around the country have been mourning the loss of Paul, who was also known for his incredible persona as drag queen Lily Savage.

"He will be greatly missed by his loved ones, friends, family, animals and all those who enjoyed his humour, wit and compassion.
