He 'didn't want to bother anyone'
Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid has recalled the time the late Paul O'Grady opened up about having a heart attack and not immediately seeking medical aid.
Paul rose to fame with his drag queen persona Lily Savage and fiercely campaigned for LGBTQ+ rights and supported various HIV organisations over the years. He was also the ambassador for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and gave a number of rescue animals a loving home over the years.His sudden death has sparked an outpouring of grief from across the nation, with many paying tribute to the dad-of-one.
She added: "He was so funny and so compassionate and so loving. You just knew he'd go into Battersea Dogs & Cats Home week after week and would have to resist the urge to take one home and add to his menagerie in Kent."
