The NFL Draft will be held April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

During an appearance on NFL Network’s “The Insiders,” Amos said Surtain served as a blueprint for his development.. “I really love how smooth he is. He rarely gets beat, always on top, always looking smooth. I think smooth is very efficient, and I just try to model my game as him. Just put everything into my toolbox. Everybody’s different, but I just do my best to be a great technician at the end of the day.” Surtain played at Alabama during the 2018 through 2020 seasons. Amos’ single season with the Crimson Tide came in 2023. Amos played at Louisiana for three seasons before joining Alabama, and he left the Tide for a season with SEC rival Ole Miss in 2024. While Amos played in every game during his season with Alabama, he started just once. With Ole Miss, Amos started every game of his final college season.. “It taught me patience, and at the end, I just wanted to have fun for my last year. But I learned so much through UL, Bama and Ole Miss. I feel like all three schools built me, and I just found a way. I knew my time was coming and proceeded to do what I had to do.” Surtain completed his time with the Tide as the SEC Defensive Player of the Year for Alabama’s undefeated CFP national-championship team for the 2020 season.in his fourth season with the Denver Broncos, who chose him with the ninth selection in the 2021 NFL Draft.Amos isn’t expected to go that early in this year’s selections, but he could come off the board before the end of the first round.. That put him close to Surtain’s size -- 6-2 and 208 pounds at the 2021 combine.
