A charter bus traveling on I-77 north near I-70 in Cambridge, Ohio, became the scene of a violent stabbing incident Thursday afternoon. A 43-year-old man from Cleveland, identified as the suspect, allegedly attacked three other passengers with a knife. Troopers arrived to find the attack over and immediately took the suspect into custody. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Two other victims were transported to the hospital by a private ambulance company, both suffering non-life-threatening injuries. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio - The Guernsey County Sheriff has one person in custody after three people were stabbed on a Barons Bus in Cambridge Thursday afternoon. According to Cambridge Fire Assistant Chief Scott Elliott, at around 12:30 p.m., first responders were dispatched to a charter bus traveling on I-77 north at I-70 for reports of a stabbing. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a passenger on the bus attacked three other passengers with a knife.

The attack was over when troopers arrived, and the suspect, a 43-year-old Cleveland man, was taken into custody and transported to the local hospital for injuries. Elliot told 19 News that a private ambulance company transported the other two victims, both with non-life-threatening injuries. According to OSHP, this incident remains under investigation
