After his many achievements in the world of acting, South Korean star Park Seo Joon reflected on his journey and offered a piece of advice to his younger self, who was “going through tough times” during those periods.
The 34-year-old Itaewon Class star was asked during a press conference held at The Marco Polo Ortigas last Saturday on what he would like to tell his 18-year-old self.
He also played roles in movies like The Chronicles of Evil , Midnight Runners , The Divine Fury , and the more recent Dream and Concrete Utopia. He also had a special role in the Oscar-winning Parasite . Citing the role of a 35-year-old doctor as an example, he stated, “For me as an actor, it is my responsibility to try to think of what processes or how this doctor and what he went through. So, this is what I think about .”
“Since there are a lot of different genres that exist, I really cannot say specifically that I wanna try this specific genre. And of course, for me, the thing that I love doing the most is acting. So, at the moment I haven’t thought of trying other endeavors yet,” he said in response to a question from this paper.
What he truly missed since the last time he was here was his fans. He considered his visit to Cebu as a “very memorable time” for him and would love to explore other vacation spots in the country. He also revealed his favorite outfit, eating habits, and how he achieves a work-life balance amid a busy schedule.
