THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Tuesday inaugurated the Tripa de Gallina Neighborhood Upgrading Project in Barangay San Isidro, providing residents of Makati City and Pasay City a new recreational area.
The park will serve as a model for future developments of the waterway under the Tripa de Gallina urban renewal initiative. “We have also provided barangay outposts and steel gates for the security of parkgoers. Also, we have installed colorful LED lights at the railings and the dual power solar/electrical LED bollard lighting fixtures to beautify the nightscape,” he said.
Maintenance of the linear park will be turned over to the local government of Makati City and the Barangay officials of San Isidro. Makati City Vice Mayor Lagdameo is committed to maintaining and taking care of the park.
