IPOH: In light of the movement control order, parents in Ipoh are taking extra measurements to safeguard their children's health and well-being.
For self-employed Munirah Abu Bakar, 39, she had already stocked up some dry food as she plans to work from home to assist with her children.
“I was lucky that I can work at home, but before the announcement was made I would still go to the office to look after my staffs,” she said, adding that all her staffs will be working from home as well. On March 16, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin declared that the entire country will be placed on movement control order starting from March 18 until March 31 to deal with the rise of Covid-19 cases.
