Parents in the Alpine School District are grappling with uncertainty as the district considers the potential closure of Windsor and Lindon Elementary Schools.
The district’s Board of Education has initiated a 90-day study to evaluate the feasibility of these closures. This study will also assess the impact on the Advanced Learning Lab and Dual Language Immersion programs, potential boundary changes, and the overall condition of school facilities.
The final decision on the closures is anticipated to be in December, following a thorough evaluation process. “The last three years, we faced the possibility of closure, and we are now facing that yet again,” she said.
