If you've never heard of this term, it is when someone throws a slice of cheese on an unsuspecting person's face. And it actuallyIt appears to work immediately once the cheese hits and sticks. They are snapped out of their crying fit because their attention is re-directed into a"WTF just happened?" moment. It makes some of the babies giggle, and others just become content.
