Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez and his brother, 1st District Representative Edwin Olivarez, distributed modular tents to victims of a fire incident that occurred on May 18. ManilaBulletin

The Olivarez brothers distributed around 100 modular tents to the victims who, aside from losing their homes in the fire, also suffered the effects of torrential rain on Saturday, May 19.

Aside from the modular tents, the brothers also provided the victims with food packs, clothes, blankets, mats, kitchen packs, hygiene kits, and financial assistance. The brothers first visited the two evacuation sites in Area I covered court in Fourth Estate Subdivision and San Antonio National High School on May 18 and distributed financial assistance to victims in order to provide food for their families.

The victims will also receive additional financial assistance through the City Social Amelioration Program of the City Social Welfare Development Department and Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation from DSWD-National Capital Region through the office of Congressman Edwin. Reports showed that around 600 families or 1,985 individuals were affected by the fire at Hontiveros Compound, Fourth Estate, Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City.
