THE provincial government of Pampanga provided milk supplement to about 470 of its residents belonging to the senior citizens sector. In a report of state-run Philippine Information Agency, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office head Elizabeth Baybayan said the milk distribution was part of Gov. Dennis Pineda’s assistance to the elderly sector, who are more susceptible to the coronavirus disease.

Provincial administrator Charlie Chua said the 500 cans of 900-gram wellness milk intended for the elderly were donated by the Tokagawa Global Corp. through its chief Morgan Sy. In Angeles City, the local government started distributing milk formula to children of poor families. Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said the city government procured P5 million worth of milk for children and another P5 million for vitamin supplements.
