THE number of violators of the community quarantine in Luzon has decreased since the Philippine National Police deployed its commandos, an official said on Sunday.said that with members of the PNP Special Action Force manning the checkpoints nationwide starting on April 21, there was a “steep decline” in offenders over the next two days or from 3,314 to 1,584 on April 23.
Eleazar said before the police commandos were deployed, the number of arrests reached as high as 8,000.
