Palace task force is sole authority on wider quarantines: Roque COVID19Quarantine
MANILA -- The government's inter-agency task force on COVID-19 will be the sole authority for decisions on community quarantines at the regional and provincial levels.
The policy is based on the latest resolution of the IATF, Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said on Tuesday. Mayors of highly-urbanized cities, and independent component cities are also authorized to impose enhanced community quarantine in barangays upon the concurrence of their respective regional inter-agency task groups.
