Jurickson Profar (knee) returns to Padres lineup, but Fernando Tatis Jr. is still nursing elbow and quad injuries

Tatis has not played since he was hit by a pitch on the left elbow on Friday. The Padres have felt good enough about that injury that they, as of Saturday afternoon, had not required imaging. Tatis, however, has also been noticeably limited by a sore right quad, which forced him out of the lineup once on the previous road trip.Profar has been managing patellar tendonitis in his left knee for quite some time.Tatis leads the team with 14 homers and was hitting .365/.427/.635 through the first 20 games in June, by far his best month of the season.Brewers RHP Tobias Myers
The 25-year-old rookie has a 42-to-16 strikeout-to-walk ratio through his first 47 innings in the majors and he has allowed one run over his last three starts , all wins.Padres RHP Michael King He’s allowed five runs over his last five starts , holding hitters to a .225/.300/.296 over that stretch. King, however, pitched past the fifth inning just once and did not complete five innings in Tuesday’s start in Philadelphia .
