The woman admitted to police that she had a verbal altercation with the kids before falsely reporting they had a gun, police said.
A Pennsylvania woman was charged with making false reports after she admitted to police that she lied about a boy brandishing a gun at a Jersey Shore amusement pier, city police said Friday.
The juveniles were located and interviewed and did not possess any firearms, according to police who said Morey’s Pier was also cleared by local and county authorities and immediately reopened once no threat to the public was discovered.
