DAVAO CITY – Around P2.2 million worth of illegal drugs was confiscated by personnel of the Toril Police Station and Task Force Davao from a company supervisor at a checkpoint in Barangay Sirawan, Toril District on Saturday night.

The Davao City Police Office identified the suspect as Allan Rey M. Peralta, 35, supervisor at a multi-national firm engaged in the export of bananas, and a resident of Upper Piedad, Barangay Bato.

But after stopping, Peralta was seen by a police officer to have taken something from the pocket of his jacket, and thrown something by the roadside.
