The Sharks have confirmed that prop Ox Nche has extended his stay in Durban by signing a new long-term contract.
The former Shimlas powerhouse initially joined the Sharks in the 2020 season from the Cheetahs and has become a pivotal member of the first team since arriving at the Shark Tank.The 27-year-old from Bloemfontein has formed a formidable front row with fellow Boks Bongi Mbonambi and Thomas du Toit, and featured prominently in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship and Champions Cup this season.
His contract extension comes on the back of contract renewals for Bok flyhalf Curwin Bosch, loosehead prop Ntuthuko Mchunu and No 8 Sikhumbuzo Notshe, along with loose forward Phepsi Buthelezi and utility back Marnus Potgieter.
