Dallas-born actor Owen Wilson voices the San Antonio businessman in 'Tom Slick: Mystery Hunter,' premiering July 18.
Owen Wilson is playing San Antonio businessman, inventor and larger-than-life adventurer Tom Slick in a new scripted podcast series. The Dallas -born actor will star alongside Sissy Spacek and Schuyler Fisk in “ Tom Slick : Mystery Hunter,” iHeartMedia announced in a news release. The eight-part podcast series is “based on the untold, mostly true tale of explorer, scientific legend and alleged spy, Tom Slick , the most interesting man you’ve never heard of,” the release says.

It will be told through hidden tapes found by his granddaughter Liv Slick in her mother Claire Slick’s attic.

It will debut on July 18 everywhere podcasts are streamed.
