Outta Sight Pizza, known for its thin-crust tavern style pizzas and eclectic flavors, has opened a second, smaller location in San Francisco's Chinatown. The new spot, which opened on Wednesday, is conveniently located for downtown office workers and offers a variety of menu selections, including some inspired by Chinatown. Despite limited seating, the restaurant saw a steady flow of customers eager to try the new location.
The popular pizza joint officially opened a second, smaller brick-and-mortar location, in the middle of a Clay Street alleyway on the border of Chinatown and the base of the Transamerica Pyramid, on Wednesday.
Dozens of San Franciscans, many of whom donned business-appropriate button-down shirts, sport coats, skirts and slacks, lined up down the block for the 11 a.m. grand opening of Outta Sight Pizza II on Wednesday. One of those customers, Julia, who walked over with two of her coworkers, said she had been counting down the days until it opened ever since she learned on Instagram about the newer, more practical location for her.
