“I think if you live in that P.A., New Jersey area, Penn State is the school everybody dreams of going to,” McCord said. “They were probably my number two choice, but I think whenMcCord was in attendance for the 2018 comeback win over the Nittany Lions led by the late great Dwayne Haskins as a Penn State recruit. It was that game that inspired visions of playing in scarlet and grey.
McCord is making a name for himself, linking up with his former high school teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. 31 times for five touchdowns. “I knew the defense was really good, and they had really good corners,” Harrison recalled. “That was the chance and opportunity I had to prove myself. The moment you just dreamed of your whole life, and you just want to capitalize on and be the best. That day, I put my best foot forward. That’s something I’m really proud of myself for.”
