An Orem man is accused of abusing his 5-year-old daughter because of her difficulties with potty training, according to court documents.
Colyar's criminal record shows an escalation of violence. He was charged with domestic violence in July of 2023 and violated a protective order by contacting the victim five times. Questions regarding how the child was placed back into Colyar's custody after his recent charges remain unanswered by Orem Police.
