A man identified as a 'keyboard coward' and accused of cyberstalking a female for seven years was arrested in Massachusetts.
BERLIN, GERMANY - JANUARY 25: In this photo illustration a young man types on an illuminated computer keyboard typically favored by computer coders on January 25, 2021 in Berlin, Germany. 2020 saw a sharp rise in global cybercrime that was in part driven by the jump in online retailing that ensued during national lockdowns as governments sought to rein in the coronavirus pandemic.
Prosecutors allege that Florence posted personal information and digitally altered images of the victim to social media accounts, including an adult website since 2017. The charges detail that the 36-year-old digitally altered images to depict the victim in nude or semi-nude forms and shared her personal information. This included her email addresses, home address, professional contact details, account passwords, and even the color of hair dye she used. Prosecutors referred to Florence's alleged tactics as "doxing."
