Country music star Lee Greenwood honors America's servicemen and women on Memorial Day, plants flags on graves of soldiers buried at Normandy. 'Never take freedom for granted,' he said.
The Declaration of Independence and The Bill of Rights, Greenwood shared with Fox News Digital in a recent interview.
"When we talked about creating yet another Bible, the idea came to us for this — I guess because I'm a constitutionalist, if you will. And I love the country and how we got started," Greenwood said. Greenwood has won numerous industry awards throughout his career, including Male Vocalist of the Year from the Academy of Country Music in 1983, two Male Vocalist of the Year awards from the Country Music Association in 1983 and 1984 — and a Grammy for Top Male Vocal Performance in 1985 for"I.O.U.," as his website notes.Greenwood wrote"God Bless The U.S.A." in the back of his tour bus in 1983.
