Speaking to 'GQ,' Olivia Munn opened up about her relationship with John Mulaney, saying that she 'barely knew' him when she got pregnant with their son, Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney.

The publication named the comedian as one of its Men of the Year and Munn took a moment to reflect on their time together. They now have two children, including a 2-year-old son named Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney and a daughter named Méi June Mulaney, whom they welcomed via surrogate last September.
She went on to say that even though they weren't in any sort of relationship, Mulaney was excited to be a father. "It wasn't necessarily, 'We're going to be married and live together' or any of that, but it was 'I'll be involved in some way,'" she added. Initially, Munn assumed that she and Mulaney would simply co-parent the new arrival, since she was living on the West Coast in Los Angeles and Mulaney's home base was New York City. Two months before her due date, Munn and Mulaney decided to try being a couple—and the rest is history.
"That's the one thing that made him seem light and happy. I remember he was really excited to tell his parents," she added, with the publication noting that Mulaney was newly sober and recovering from drug addiction at the time.Malcolm arrived in November 2021. The couple revealed this year that they got married over the July 4 holiday with a tiny ceremony that only involved their son and one witness.
"I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter. When I first met our gestational surrogate we spoke mother to mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding, I knew I had found a real-life angel," Munnat the time."Words cannot express my gratitude that she kept our baby safe for 9 months and made our dreams come true.
