Olivela, the luxury e-commerce platform with impact built into every purchase, has appointed Amanda Willinger president and chief operating officer. This leadership addition marks a new chapter for the company, which is accelerating its business in the fine jewelry space.
The position of president is new at Olivela to support the fine jewelry growth and as chief operating officer, Willinger succeeds Sarah Stout. Most recently, Willinger was chief revenue officer at fine jewelry house Lagos, where she spent more than a decade driving digital innovation, omnichannel expansion and brand growth across the category. She has also worked at brands such as Ippolita, David Yurman and Tumi as director of creative services. In her role as president, Willinger will lead Olivera’s next phase of growth, with a strategic focus on expanding its jewelry offering and redefining how clients discover and shop for fine jewelry online.“At Olivela, we’ve always believed that luxury can be a force for good,” said Stacey Boyd, founder and chief executive officer of Olivela. “With Amanda’s leadership, we are entering an exciting new chapter — one that positions us at the forefront of jewelry, while continuing to deliver impact with every purchase.”Under Willinger’s leadership, Olivela looks to deepen its investment in fine jewelry. Its strategy focuses on enhanced discovery across emerging and established jewelry designers; customization and personalization, allowing clients to create pieces that reflect their individual style and milestones, and expanded assortment across fine, demi-fine and bespoke jewelry categories. In recent months, Olivela has focused on an evolved curation of ready-to-wear from brands such as Erdem, Cecilie Bahnsen, Jonathan Simkhai, Argent and Marina Moscone. In the jewelry category, it is positioning itself as a discovery destination for both established jewelry designers and emerging brands, with partners including Spinelli Kilcollin, Graziela, Anabela Chan, Bibi Van Der Velden and Moritz Glik, alongside emerging designers such as Statement Paris, Yi Collection, Rouvenat, Elizabeth Moore, Future Fortune and others. Olivela donates 20 percent of net proceeds from every order to a global network of nonprofit partners supporting education, health and climate initiatives. “Jewelry is one of the most emotional and enduring categories in luxury,” Willinger said. “At Olivela, we have a unique opportunity to reimagine the experience — bringing together discovery, personalization and purpose in a way that resonates deeply with today’s customer. We believe purpose-driven commerce is the future of shopping and our platform allows customers to invest in pieces they love while also making a tangible impact.”Nike's Original Air Max 95 'Slate' Is Getting a Big Bubble Release….
