Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Ministry of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship, SMJ Sdn Bhd and Sabah Oil and Gas Service Council (SOGSC) have launched the Sabah Oil and Gas Capabilities and Capacities Acceleration Programme (SOGCAP) at the TAS Institute of Oil and Gas.

The programme was designed to help Sabahan businesses develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the oil and gas industry. Daily Express Malaysia

Twenty-eight companies participated in the programme, developed with the Kadazan-Dusun Chamber of Commerce and Industry , Sabah Bumiputera Chamber of Commerce and the Sabah United Chinese Chambers of Commerce . Expert speakers from Petronas and Shell presented papers on a wide range of topics, including on O&G Development Lifecycle; Introduction to O&G Services in Malaysia; HSE Management in O&G; Petronas Licence and Registration; Petronas Tender Process; and Smart GEP.
