KOTA KINABALU: The Sekolah Bimbingan Jalinan Kasih will start operating in Sabah on Monday as one of the Education Ministry's efforts to provide access to equal education for all young people in the country, including dropouts, street kids and undocumented children in the state.

He said the programme would play a role in ensuring quality and equitable inclusive education and promote lifelong learning opportunities, to ensure that no child was left behind to complete primary and secondary schooling by 2030. "This is in addition to street and marginalised children and orphans who live in welfare centres registered with the Department of Social Welfare," he said while inaugurating the programme here on Sunday .

"They came to the Children’s Activity Centre under the supervision of the Sabah Social Welfare Department to learn about the basic concepts of 3Rs .
