Some of the state's best wrestlers come out of Northeast Ohio. Here's a look at some of the area's best girls wrestlers.

That’s a clear sign that it’s wrestling season in Northeast Ohio.
Yontosh narrowly missed qualifying for the state tournament last season as a fifth place finisher at the district tournament. That doesn’t take away from her 32-13 sophomore campaign and three pins at the district tournament. She returns this season with an opportunity for an even deeper postseason run and a trip to the state tournament well within her grasp.
Madi stamped herself as one of the area’s top wrestlers last season with a trip to the state final. She posted a 34-7 record with a third-place finish at the Beast of the East, a runner-up Findlay Invitational finish and a championship at Lutheran West’s Lady Longhorn holiday tournament. She has legitimate title hopes this season and is sure to be back near the top of the podium.
