High school wrestling season is here and some of the best wrestlers the state has to offer call Northeast Ohio home.

That’s a clear sign that it’s wrestling season in Northeast Ohio.

Adam Butler, of St. Edward, defeats Nate Hammann, of LaSalle, in the 106 pound class during the preliminary round of the Division I state wrestling championships.Butler has twice been a state runner-up and has one fifth place finish in his time at St. Edward. His biggest competition is in the same district, but Butler one of several Eagles with legitimate state championship hopes this season. The Virginia commit is also on the cusp of hitting the 100 win milestone this season.St.
