The OHSAA Division I boys golf state tournament wrapped on Tuesday at NCR Country Club in Kettering.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Archbishop Hoban won the team title and Knights senior Chris Pollack won the individual title by two strokes Tuesday at the OHSAA Division I boys golf state tournament at NCR Country Club in Kettering.
Pollack, one of four returning golfers from last season’s runner-up finish for the Knights, had a two-day total of 142 to finish ahead of Kent Roosevelt senior Liam Curtis and three golfers tied at third . Pollack and Curtis finished the first day of the tournament tied with a 71. Pollack shot a 71 again on Tuesday, while Curtis finished at 73. Curtis won the Northeast district tournament last week.Helping Pollack get the Knights to the team title was senior Ray Dress , senior Braden Herstich senior Brett Bagatti and sophomore Ben Berridge .
