That said, Ohio State is calling its final practice of the spring a “spring showcase” this year, opening up the possibility that Ohio State could deviate from holding a traditional spring game. The Buckeyes will practice three times during the first week of practice, then practice four times in each of the following three weeks, culminating with the spring showcase for their 15th and final practice. Ohio State is starting its spring practice schedule two weeks later than usual due to the length of its 2024 season, which culminated on January 20 with the Buckeyes winning the national championship in their 16th game of the season.
